Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Malinda Miller
Appointed Deputy Mayor Pro Tem in June, 2011, Council member Malinda Miller was re-elected to Place 6 in May, 2013, having run unopposed for her second term.
Ms. Miller has been an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) for more than 25 years. She earned her Masters Degree in Communications Management and her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Law from the University of Texas in Arlington. A Forest Hill resident since 1982, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Miller has previously served the City as mayor, council member and on several boards and commissions. Ms. Miller has two sons and six grandchildren.
As she works towards improving the quality of life in Forest Hill, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Miller believes diligent code compliance and enforcement will continue the city on the road to growth. “Citizen input is critical. I encourage our residents to participate in our various city meetings and contact Council members with their concerns because cooperation such as this will make our city an even greater place to live and do business.”
