City Council Member Stephanie Boardingham
Stephanie Boardingham was elected to City Council Place 6 in May, 2017. She is serving her first term in office. In August 2017, she became Certified Municipal Officer.
Mrs. Boardingham is currently a member of the Forest Hill Lions Club, owner and CEO of the Forest Hill Indoor Outdoor Market, a Certified Notary Public, Certified in Adult and Children Vision Screens, and is a Certified Volunteer with Red Cross. In addition, she holds a Food Handler Permit. She volunteers for Kids Vision For Life, Tarrant County Food Bank, and calls Bingo for seniors in Forest Hill.
Councilwoman Boardingham’s first public office was as an elected Trustee for the Forest Hill Public Library. She continues to be involved in the Library.
In addition to serving her adult constituents, she also makes time for the youth. She volunteers at Harlean Beal and David K. Sellars every chance she gets. Councilwoman Boardingham strives to keep the youth in our community actively involved in activities in an effort to build their confidence while encouraging them as they move forward to becoming our future leaders.
Councilwoman Boardingham believes that there has never been a more important time for our leaders to represent the citizens’ voice and act in the best interest of our city. She also believes that collectively, and without bias or personal interest, the Council serves the citizens and businesses. She looks forward to serving all in every capacity. “I want to thank all the citizens and businesses that put their trust in me by electing me to serve this wonderful community of Forest Hill.”
Honored to serve, Councilwoman Boardingham has been a resident of Forest Hill for 14 years. She is married to Timey Boardingham, and together they have raised 7 children, and they have 8 wonderful grandchildren.
